We sit on the west side of Connecticut Avenue between L and M Streets NW, in the Golden Triangle business district, surrounded by K Street and Farragut Square.
Metered street parking lines Connecticut Avenue and the surrounding blocks during business hours; the Colonial Parking garage at 1015 18th Street NW and the PMI garage at 1725 Desales Street NW are both a two-minute walk away.
The Farragut North Metro on the Red Line is three blocks south, with Metrobus routes N2, N4, N6, and L2 stopping along Connecticut Avenue within a block of our entrance.

I've been going to this particular Voorthius for years and I love them. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The selection of frames is outstanding both in style and quality. The doctor isn't an optometrist but an ophthalmologist, (an MD), and include eye health checks in your exam. They also make their lenses on site. I got my eye exam and selected my frames, paid and picked them up the next day. They are a little pricier than some other stores but the service and quality of everything is superior.
